Jalapão 6 days – Return to Jalapão Park (Trails and Rafting)
FIRST DAY: Palmas / Taquaruçu
We will start our itinerary with a relaxing day full of charms in the District of Palmas, Taquaruçu, a cozy and bucolic place, with hospitable people and full of waterfalls with cold and crystalline waters, the source of water in the state capital.
We will visit the Escorrega Macaco Waterfall (50m high) and the Roncadeira Waterfall (70m).
After the visit, we will go to the Ecological Farm for lunch and enjoy the beautiful Cachoeira das Araras (25m) .
We will travel 1.2 km to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the Capela Trail.
Dinner and overnight in the city.

DAY TWO: Palmas / Jalapão Ecolodge
Departure to Jalapão Ecolodge, passing by Fazenda Rosalina, a place with ferruginous sandstone formations on Morro Vermelho, where your imagination can create different shapes, where we will have the opportunity to take a short walk.
Afterwards, we will go to Jalapão Ecolodge for lunch and a refreshing swim in the Soninho River, in the late afternoon we will climb Morro da Catedral, one of Jalapão's postcards.
We will have the magnificent experience of enjoying a beautiful and unspeakable Sunset.
Return to Jalapão Ecolodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY THREE: Jalapão Ecolodge
We will start our day at 5:30 in the morning, where we will go trekking on the Garcês trail, a walk of approximately 15km, passing through clean fields and paths, until arriving at Cachoeira da Velha, an opportunity to see from a different angle than the conventional one. inside the park.
At lunch we will have a picnic in one of the Prainha do Rio Novo, a chance to eat in the middle of nature.
We will also visit several small beaches in the largest river with clean and drinking water in Brazil.
We will do a 3-hour Rafting, with class IV rapids, so that everyone can experience the thrill of paddling in Jalapão, a dose of adrenaline tailored to be marked as the calling card in the minds of nature lovers who visit Jalapão.
Return to Jalapão Ecolodge for dinner and overnight.

FOURTH DAY: São Felix / Mateiros
After breakfast, we will head towards Mateiros, passing by the largest active fervedouro in Jalapão, Fervedouro Bela Vista, the place that most impresses tourists and researchers, a well of crystal clear water where it is impossible to sink and whoever bathes there has the clear feeling of being floating.
After this visit, we will continue to the Formiga Waterfall, considered one of the most beautiful in Jalapão, with its emerald green waters that provide a relaxing and refreshing bath for the body, one of the most desirable and beautiful for bathing, diving and floating.
Still heading towards Mateiros, we will visit Fervedouro do Buritizinho and the small beach of Rio Formiga, where we will have lunch on typical Jalapoeira food.
After a short rest, we will walk 4 km through the Cerrado, to the Encontro dos Rios, where we will be able to notice the difference in temperatures and colors of its waters.
At the end of the day, we will pass by the Mumbuca Quilombola Community, cradle of golden grass.
We will have dinner at the Community, where we will have the opportunity to get to know a lot of the local culture.
We will continue to spend the night in Mateiros.

FIFTH DAY: Foresters / Ponte Alta
We will start the day very early (around 4 am), with a trekking in the Serra do Espírito Santo, approximately 4 hours long with a 500 meter climb, plus a 3 km trail on top of the Serra, where we will be able to appreciate the sunrise and breathtaking scenery.
Afterwards, we will pass through Dunas do Jalapão, a beautiful setting with its golden orange sands, surrounded by mountains and paths.
We will continue towards Ponte Alta, on the way we will visit the Sussuapara Canyon, stop without bathing.
We'll have lunch in town.
On that day we will have the honor of being able to enjoy the sunset at Pedra Furada, a huge sandstone boulder carved by wind and rain.
Dinner and overnight in Ponte Alta.
ALTERNATIVE SCRIPT. From December to March, due to the rainy season, after visiting the Dunes, we will continue to Cachoeira da Velha, where we will have a snack and continue to the sunset at Pedra Furada.

DAY SIX: Ponte Alta / Palmas
We will leave towards Palmas, but not before visiting the Encantado Canyon.
A place of rare and unique beauty, at some times of the year it has more than five waterfalls that can be seen from the same place.
We will hike inside the Canyon of approximately 1.5 km.
We'll have lunch at Senhor Juraci where we'll enjoy delicious homemade food with good stories.
Still heading to Palmas, we will visit the District of Taquaruçu, where we will enjoy a sunset at Pedra do Pedro Paulo.
Return to Palmas, arriving at 7pm.
ALTERNATIVE SCRIPT. During the dry season (May to October) the attractive Lagoa do Japonês will be visited, a spring of crystalline waters with turquoise blue, with the possibility of entering the cave located in the Lagoa. Besides a nice conversation at lunch with Mrs. Minervina.
